yay! to start of my blogs, I will write about cosplay and cosplayers who caught my attention. In the field of cosplaying, for me, they can be considered as experts because of how they portray the character flawlessly. Some actually look so much alike that you might not know who is who.O.O

Checking on the background of these cosplayers, I’ve come to know that they are actually indulge in arts and that most of them were either finished in a fine arts course or is currently studying in the said course.*kewl :D*

Just like them, I too, adore cosplaying, I love to dress up in different costumes. I’ve done few but because I do not have the luxury of time, I’m not able to cosplay lately. The reason why I love doing this is because I see it as a hobby in which I could actually express the artistic and creative side of me, just like every other cosplayer does. Though still, others believe that these stuffs are for geeks ( oh please give me a break! ~.~) maybe the purpose of why I’m writing about this stuff is to show that cosplay is not what other believes as it is.

Cosplaying is not as easy as it may look like. Aside from the fact that it is one of the expensive hobbies there is, it is merely not just looking like the character but to be a character temporarily. Sounds weird but you must actually internalize the character your portraying in order to execute it flawlessly. It FYI, it takes a lot of guts and skill to go up in stage and cosplay.

Now lets start the countdown shall we? *n.n*

To start of, is Shizuka Tachibana aka Rainer Tachibana, a Singaporean cosplayer/artist. In the photo on top, she is cosplaying as lightning/eclair farron of final fantasy Xiii and I have also included an actual picture of the character (lightning) at the lower right portion so you could compare them.

Reasons why i chose her to be the first on my list was because I was actually stunned with her cosplay, especially in cosplaying final fantasy characters and because I’m actually a fan of Final fantasy as well *giggles*n.n*. Some of her best works and also my personal favorites are as Kadaj of Final Fantasy: Advent Children, Noctis Lucis Caelum of Final fantasy Xiii Versus and Lelouch Lamperouge of the anime Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion. Next photo, is non other than the Gosienfiao sisters’, yes! our very own*claps* :) Alodia as Amaha Masane(left) and Ashley as Shiori Tzukuzi (right) which are both characters of the anime series of Witchblade. (awesome shot O.O) I’m a big fan of them ever since I saw their cosplay pictures and as time goes by, they keep on getting better and better in what they do. The picture by sir jay tablante actually says it all. They even manage to enter the Anime Festival Asia last 2009 to represent the Philippines *sweet*

Every picture of them is definitely stunning, they even get to represent some online games here in the Philippines as well. :) And what’s more interesting with this two is that since they venture into arts, they sometimes take each other pictures,do their own make-up and props *love it*. as of now, they are my personal favorite cosplayer hihi. once i see another i would definitely write another blog about him/her :D haha whew! done with my first blog. yey *hooraay* comments would be much appreciated :))
